Q. What is Your Cancellation Policy?
Your space in our balloon is reserved by credit card or advance payment. We accept major credit cards. Your credit card is used for authorization only, so you may pay cash the morning of your flight. Our cancellation policy is 48 hours. If you cancel within 48 hours of your flight or fail to show up, no refund is given and full fare will be charged. Promotional discounted purchases are not refundable, only reschedulable, once purchased.

Q. What do I Wear?
We recommend wearing layered casual clothes. Depending on the time of year, the weather will be cool in the morning, always warming by mid-day. It is usually warm in the basket due to the burner used to heat the air. Please bring a hat and wear closed toe flat sole shoes.

Q. Are there any age restrictions or limitations?
You must be in good general health. Pregnant women and people with pre-existing lower back problems should not ride. Children, 3 years and older, must keep both feet on the basket floor, we recommend children be tall enough to see over the basket, to prevent boredom. All passengers must be able to stand unassisted in the balloon. Wheelchair riders must book a private flight to prevent possible injury to other riders. You are required to read and sign a liability waiver in order to ride in our balloons.

Q. What if the Weather is Bad?
Temecula Valley, Del Mar and Palm Desert have their own micro-weather system. The weather may often be sour in most of the rest of Southern California but just fine where we fly. We rarely cancel rides due to weather. However, if we must cancel due to weather, we offer a full refund for full priced purchases or you can reschedule for another day. Gift purchases, promotional or discounted fares as well as Groupbuy vouchers are limited to rescheduling for another day.

If you are part of our Balloon and Wine tour and our balloons cannot fly, the balloon ride portion is replaced with another local attraction. We then continue with our normal wine tasting tour.

Q. What if I am Afraid of Heights?
Believe it or not, most of our customers are afraid of heights. Because we are in an attached basket, riders do not experience the fear of falling sensation that one gets when looking over a ledge, concerned that the ground beneath will give way. Our flight includes terrain flying (like a magic carpet ride), floating just above the tree tops. You may even be able to pick fruit from the top of the orchards in Temecula! We smoothly climb up so that you may get a good look of Temecula valley or Pacific Ocean. Most riders tell us that the balloon ride is as gentle as riding in an elevator.

Q. What is Your Tipping Policy?
Our entire staff is dedicated to providing you with excellent service. We charge a 10% service fee for reservations, 18% for large groups. Our service fee makes up a portion of the compensation for our pilots, ground crew, drivers, reservation hosts and tour guides. The service charge is shared with all staff based on performance. You may prepay this fee or hand it to the pilot on the day of the flight. If you had a safe flight and enjoyable time, please remember to review us on Yelp, Trip Advisor or Facebook. Your gratuity is greatly appreciated.
